Most people are familiar with the standard rollator walkers. They’re walkers that have wheels that are much larger than what you’ll usually find on a basic walker, plus they come with a built-in seat that’s very convenient if you’re standing in line, have severe degenerative joint disease, or just find that you need to take breaks from time to time on longer outings. But Rollz Motion took it a step further and created a rollator that’s part transport chair.
Traditional rollator walkers simply can’t measure up to the type of versatility this walker has to offer.
Overview and Features
This rollator walker can go from walker to transport chair in seconds. The transport chair looks just like a wheelchair, except for the smaller wheels.
Now, with the average rollator walker, most manufacturers do not recommend sitting on the walker’s seat as someone pushes you, because those walkers simply aren’t made to withstand the weight. But this two in one transport chair/rollator walker is designed to do just that.
Did you just recently have surgery and you need to take it slow in terms of the amount of distance you cover? Do you have arthritis that can flare up out of nowhere at times, but you don’t want to give up on using your walker and make the leap to full-time wheelchair use?
Most people choose a rollator style walker because it’s equipped with large wheels that are perfect for outdoor use, and rollators can handle heavy use, which a basic walker can’t.
But with a rollator, you can’t sit back and relax. The walker isn’t made to be in motion as you sit, and the lack of back support can be a huge downside for anyone dealing with a joint related condition or those suffering from chronic back pain. Fortunately, Rollz Motion has been paying attention and has created a walker designed to handle what other models simply can’t.
So, if you’re not satisfied with your rollator walker’s performance, this model can be the perfect solution.

Wheel Design
Equipped with four tough wheels, this walker is incredibly durable. On the back of the walker, you’ll find two large twelve-inch pneumatic rubber wheels equipped with foam fill for reduced vibration. This means you can enjoy a smoother ride on a variety of terrain types including grass.
Brakes
The walker/transport chair features hub brakes which will allow you to slow down the wheel’s rolling ability when heading downhill.
Walker Weight and User Weight Capacity
It features a lightweight design, weighing in at just twenty-three pounds and it has a max user weight of two hundred and seventy-five pounds.
However, for some, the walker’s weight can make it unmanageable to lift and transport. If you’re looking for a lightweight, traditional rollator walker, we recommend the UpWalker walking aid, which features the classic rollator lightweight design.
Foldability and Storage
Whether it’s in the chair or walker position, this model can be easily and quickly folded down for storage and transport. Additionally, the walker’s compact design makes it very trunk-friendly.
Performance
This walker was designed with convenience in mind. It can quickly transform into a transport chair and is perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. It’s also a great option for travel or longer outings.
The walker features an ergonomic design with a lightweight, strong frame that allows the user to walk upright, comfortably, offering the right amount of support.
A basic rollator walker has its own limitations. While they have a built-in seat, the walker is not designed to allow the user to sit on the seat as someone pushes the walker. Doing so can severely damage the frame. For this reason, Rollz Motion came up with this two in one model that is designed to allow you to sit back and enjoy the ride.
However, the large wheels can make the walker more difficult to handle for people who are dealing with serious ambulation issues. Additionally, the walker is not very adjustable, which means you can switch off wheels or adjust the height of the hand grips.
